Booking and reservations for ski and snowboard courses

The Fankhauser Ski School declines any liability for accidents that occur during, before or after ski lessons. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the course participants. Card refunds due to injury or illness will only be made with a medical confirmation. Course cancellations due to weather-related influences (force majeure) or train cancellations will not be reimbursed. Private courses take place in all weathers. The course ticket is not transferable. Unused course days expire. If a group is reduced to fewer than 4 participants, we reserve the right to combine it with others, shorten the number of lessons or pay out the difference for the remaining days. It is possible to change teachers several times due to the flexible organization. All deliveries and services provided by the ski school based on online orders via the Internet or other online services are subject to these terms and conditions. The use of the lifts is not included in the ski course fee. The ski school will not provide any compensation for lesson times lost due to cable car and lift failures.

Rental and reservation of ski and snowboard equipment

Each renter is liable for the proper return of the borrowed items up to the amount of their retail value. Theft must be reported to the police. In addition to the protection fee of 10% of the rental price, a deductible must be paid in the event of theft, loss or breakage: Premium skis Euro 250; VIP ski Euro 150,-; VIP ski 2nd year, TOP ski, snowboard Euro 80,-; Basic skis, snowblade, cross-country & children's skis, Big Foot, cross-country ski & snowboard boots Euro 50,-; Helmets Euro 40,-; Sticks Euro 10,-. If no ski insurance has been taken out, the renter is fully liable for the rented equipment. In the event that the borrowed material is not properly returned, for whatever reason, the landlord will automatically file a report of theft against the tenant on the 7th day of overdue payment. The rental agreement can be terminated early by returning the rental object, but without refunding the agreed rental fee. Refunds will only be made in the event of illness or accident, upon presentation of a medical certificate, with a cancellation fee being retained. Refunds for bookings via our online portal at www.skischule-fankhauser.at will be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the rental price. The landlord is entitled to demand security in the form of a document (passport, ID card, driving license, etc.) or a deposit. The deposit of a security does not count as a possible purchase price for the equipment.

Content of the online offer

The ski school/ski rental company (hereinafter referred to as “author”) assumes no liability for the timeliness, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author, which relate to material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect and incomplete information, are fundamentally excluded, unless the author can be proven to have acted intentionally or with gross negligence Fault exists. All offers are subject to change and non-binding. Cancellation conditions

Refunds for bookings via our online portal at www.skischule-fankhauser.at will be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the price.

Place of jurisdiction, place of performance and choice of law

The place of performance is the central location of the ski school/ski rental. The court responsible for the headquarters of the central branch of the ski school/ski rental company is responsible for disputes. Austrian law applies. The contract language is German.
